Stuffing
½ lb butter
3 stalks celery
1 onion
6 tsp poultry seasoning
Salt and pepper
2 loaves of bread ( any kind, my mom always likes to mix a variety)
*This is to stuff in a turkey, however when not stuffing you will need broth to moisten the bread.
Simmer onion and celery in butter or oil, sprinkle seasoning. Add butter and let melt. Add in cubed bread and mix. Once coated in butter and seasoning you will stuff the bird or add in the broth. Add a cup of broth at a time until it’s properly moistened. You may need to add broth as it cooks. When not stuffing a bird, let it simmer at least 30 minutes.
